Over the weekend, we sat down in State Library of Western Australia for our Annual General Meeting (AGM). Many useful discussions were had and important recognition were made. We’d like to thank all those who attended, gave their voice and support for our next year ahead.
We would like to give special recognition to our outgoing Chairperson, Craig A. Watson , whose leadership experience has significantly contributed to our growth and development as a community service organisation.
We also want to recognise Dr. Simon Order for his contribution to the Board. His vast experience in education and community radio has been of huge value to Ability Heroes – we are excited to see his continued work within the community, setting up the only National Disability Radio Service, operated by DADAA in Fremantle.
Now we look ahead to the future, planning meetings ahead, networking to enjoy, and an app to launch!
