At Ability Heroes, we’re always on the lookout for ways to celebrate and share opportunities that promote greater accessibility across Perth. The upcoming launch of the new METRONET Thornlie-Cockburn Line is one such moment. This new development marks a significant step forward in connecting communities and improving transport options for all.
To celebrate, Transperth are giving away 50 double passes to ride the first ever train on this new east-west line on Sunday, 8 June. This is all part of of Link Up, Line Up – a free community event recognising this important milestone in Perth’s public transport network.
While we’re not involved in the event or competition, we believe improved connectivity like this can support more inclusive access to essential places – whether it’s work, study, or social events.
