Last weekend we were invited to experience the rich traditions, music, and flavours of Bavaria at Rhein-Donau Club’s, Bier & Wurstfest!
We had the pleasure of witnessing the Edelweiss Dance Group perform traditional folk dances and experience a unique Alpine tradition from the Echo der Berge bell ringers.
One of our highlights was the mouthwatering selection of German sausages and of course, the array of authentic German beer!
A huge thank you (or should be say ‘Prost!’) to the organisers for creating such an inclusive and entertaining event. The whole event was a true testament to the Harmony Week values – coming together to celebrate cultural diversity and promote inclusivity.
Also, a thank you to the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries’ Office of Multicultural Interests, who supported the event.
