Amel Holic has spent more than two decades turning ideas into dependable software. He began as a hands-on developer and later co-founded BlueSky Digital Labs, growing it into one of Perth’s largest independent web and mobile studios. Since then he has guided technology teams at Horizon Digital and other local ventures.

At Ability Heroes, Amel converts big goals into a clear technology roadmap. He shapes the platform’s architecture, sets development priorities, and makes sure every line of code supports our community’s accessibility mission.

Known for his calm, collaborative style, Amel still enjoys rolling up his sleeves, reviewing pull requests, mentoring junior developers and finding simple improvements that make a real difference for users. He believes great technology should feel invisible; people experience the benefit, not the complexity behind it.

Outside work he can be found reading up on the latest cloud practices or cheering at his kids’ weekend sport. Amel is grateful for the opportunity to help Ability Heroes grow, securely and sustainably, for everyone who relies on it.
