3d Laser Scanning & Reality Capture
I have always been curious—about how things work, how environments are built, and how people interact with the world around them. Growing up in the UK I developed an appreciation for both structure and space—something that would later shape my career.
That curiosity led me into the field of surveying over 35 years ago. Since then, I have worked across the globe in some of the most demanding and dynamic environments—from offshore oil rigs in the UK and Texas to large-scale infrastructure projects in South Korea, Malaysia, and Brazil. These experiences taught me the value of precision, particularly in dimensional control, where accuracy is critical and every millimetre matters.
Fifteen years ago, I moved to Australia and took on the role of Surveying Manager. While the tools and technologies have evolved over time, my passion for innovation has never changed. In recent years, I have been especially drawn to the potential of virtual reality and immersive technologies to transform how we experience and understand spaces.
That passion is what led me to Vietech3D Pty Ltd .
At ViewTech3D, we bring real-world environments to life through interactive virtual tours and immersive 3D experiences. Our goal is to make spaces more accessible, engaging, and inclusive—whether it’s for businesses, public institutions, or anyone looking to connect with their audience in a more meaningful way.
Through this work, I get to combine decades of technical expertise with a creative vision for the future—one where technology enhances human connection and creates new ways to experience the world around us.
Being part of Ability Heroes’ advisory team is not just about applying technology—it is about making a real difference in people’s lives. Collaborating with a passionate group of individuals who are dedicated to breaking down barriers and creating truly inclusive environments.
Together, we are reimagining what accessibility can look like—using immersive technology to create spaces that everyone can explore, experience, and enjoy
