Introducing the Hon. Hannah Beazley – New Minister for Disability and Local Government
We’re pleased to welcome the Hon. Hannah Beazley BA MLA as the new State Minister for Disability Services and Local Government.
Elected as the Member for Victoria Park in 2021, Minister Beazley joined Cabinet in December 2023 and brings a wealth of experience across government, community, and business sectors. In her time as Minister for Local Government, she’s led major reform – continuing the biggest changes to the sector in over 25 years. She also played a key role in delivering WA’s Youth Action Plan and is spearheading the State’s first whole-of-government LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Strategy.
A proud local of Victoria Park, Minister Beazley has a strong understanding of community needs and a personal connection to the disability space as a mum to a child with significant extra needs.
We look forward to working with Minister Beazley in her new role and continuing to support inclusive, accessible communities across Western Australia.
